12" & 18" Stainless Steel Center Rule Set

The Chappell Universal Center Rules are made from .029” tempered stainless steel and are flexible enough to work on round logs and uneven surfaces—while springing back to the straight and flat. They can also be purposefully bent to retain a curved shape by carefully forming around an extreme curved surface. Log builders often choose to do this to facilitate layout on their logs and wanky, live edged timbers.

Chappell Center Rules are scaled in the Chappell Hybrid Imperial-Decimal Inch scale divided in the 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 inch, with minor divisions in .05". The scales on top and bottom start from opposite zero points, allowing the rulers to be worked from either side without flipping it over and reading upside down.
